We know that all of you have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Like many other nonessential businesses, we have been working remotely the past month and staying home to shelter in place.
We are thankful that we have a business where we are able to work remotely and shelter in place while keeping the business running with all of the necessary precautions. This is not only for our own personal health, but also for the health of others. Doing our part helps minimize further spread in our communities.
We are happy to let you know that we are able to continue to sell online and deliver to your homes with our normal shipping schedule.
We are working and communicating closely with our fulfillment center and manufacturers to make sure that all workers and customers are safe during this time. We are happy to relay that extra precautions are taken to monitor workers, limit any close physical contact, and keep facilities clean.
As a small business, we are doing all we can to maintain our high level of service and products during this extremely uncertain and stressful time. Our goal is to maintain as much normalcy as possible, as to maintain our business and the livelihoods of all our partners who we work with.
We're maintaining normalcy, but there's nothing normal about it.
There are many businesses at this time that are struggling. The whole travel industry, which we find ourselves to be a part of, has been immensely impacted, but we are staying positive and counting our blessings.
We are still a lean two sister operation, and do not have to worry about laying off employees or paying rent for a closed brick and mortar shop. We can cut our own paychecks and be ok. We have inventory that thankfully was made before the virus started spreading so rapidly. We can continue to run, though at a slower pace than before. A socially distanced walk.
How to help a small business during this time?
- Cash flow is important to keeping any business alive, so purchase their products and/or gift cards to keep the business afloat
- Help spread the word by gifting or sharing with family and friends
- Leave reviews if you enjoy their product so others can learn about your experience
- Keep the spirit alive and follow & engage their social media accounts
- Be kind and say thank you to those who are still working through these unprecedented times
As business owners we've taken a lot of pride in the growth of Arden Cove in the past couple of years. But we’ve accepted that right now is a time of change.
We aren't running ads and we aren't spending money if we can help it. We will bundle up our company, protect it as best we can, and weather the storm.
We are dreaming about the days where we can travel again, and the kind of items we will bring with us.

These days we focus a lot on being grateful for what we do have.
We want to thank those who are still working despite higher risks than ever before. Thank you for keeping our communities running. Thank you for taking care of our most vulnerable individuals at this time. We hope that as a community we can share and support each other as best as we can.
