What makes an Arden Cove Anti-Theft Waterproof Crossbody different from all the other anti-theft bags on the market?
It's not just the good looks. It's also all the high quality materials and fine details to ensure each bag is made to last throughout your travels.
Read on to see how each material used is carefully chosen for specific purposes, and how each keeps you safe while on the move.
- Waterpoof Nylon & Waterproof Zipper. The first layer is your first line of defense. The nylon is not only water resistant, it also has a special layer of rubber backing which really keeps moisture out! Of course, waterproof material is no use if the water just seeps in though the zippers, so the zippers are waterproof as well.
- Locking Zippers. The lobster clasp zipper pulls allow you to shut your compartments closed. While it is possible to open the bag (Duh! You need to be able to get in!) the clasp is enough of a hassle to deter thieves who are looking for easy pickings. Unless you're walking around with showy brand name clothing and decked out in shiny jewelry (Might as well scream "I'M REALLY RICH! TARGET ME!") Thieves won't take the extra risk of getting caught.
- Slash Resistant Lining. Sandwiched between the waterproof nylon and satin polyester lining inside, the slash resistant lining is not actually visible (unless you hack though the layers like we did!). It's the last layer of defense, and there to protect you if all else has failed.
- RFID Blocking Material. In the built in wallet, there is RFID blocking material to protect you from electronic theft. The bill pocket is even large enough to hold your passport.

Ever consider inventing a portable safe for use on a beach, that we can lock while enjoying the waves ?
I just got back from 17 days in Italy. Flew over and back with the larger Arden Cove bag and used the smaller one the rest of the days. I felt my passport and credit cards were more than safe. It did rain a few times and knowing my bag was waterproof was important. Thank you for making such wonderful bags!
