I wore this bag all over Rome, Barcelona and the islands in between. I felt safe keeping our passports in the inside zippered pocket and clipped the outside pockets closed. It fit well and was comfortable. And the best part! It looks cute. Not like other travel bags. I also bought the phone leash and had it clipped to the bag and in my pocket. All stayed safe!
This is my second bag from Arden Cove. I had the original Crissy Crossbody for about four years and finally decided to get the faux leather version.
I lived in Germany from 2020 to 2025 and carried my original Crissy with me all over. Even in busy areas I never really felt unsafe, but it was still nice having that extra bit of security, especially when traveling or in crowded places.
I had a Michael Kors Jet Set bag that I honestly hardly ever used. The Crissy, on the other hand, became my everyday bag. I carried it everywhere, and after four years I knew I wanted another one rather than switching to something else.
This bag checks every box for me when it comes to simplicity, style, and functionality. It looks clean and put together without being overly complicated, and it has plenty of organization without feeling bulky. It's easy to carry, goes with pretty much anything, and actually works for everyday life.
My original Crissy held up incredibly well over the years, so I already knew I loved the design. The faux leather version feels like the perfect upgrade, and I'm really happy I finally got it!
The Crissy Full Crossbody with Locking Straps was perfect for my trip to Alaska. I was able to carry my reading glasses, sun glasses, lipstick, chapstick, my families ID passport cards, money, cabin card, keys, mints, and phone. I felt safe walking through Seattle, airport, the cruise boat, and towns in Alaska. It also fit every occasion, so I didn’t have to take multiple purses. My daughter and mother also commented through the whole trip how nice it looked. I will definitely order more of these amazing purses for my family members. Thank you so much for making an incredible purse! I also wanted to comment on your company being very professional and timely when I had to exchange purses in a two week period before my trip.
This is a great handbag, my 3rd purchase from Arden Cove. I love the light color (taupe), antitheft protections, and slip pocket… also that it looks pretty. I bought it for travel but like it so much I use it for everyday too. I would say that it is my favorite purse, but at the last minute I bought a Mykos (in a different color) and that became my favorite due to its smaller size. Honestly, the perfect handbag would be sized in between these two and have a slip pocket. I would like a true white color, too. Love this handbag, though, it is a favorite both at home and traveling!

I made one small modification to better fit my needs. I replaced the key ring with a small clasp, which lets me quickly attach and detach my phone and easily switch it between different bags. It works perfectly for everyday use.
The quality is excellent, it feels very secure, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing my phone is always safely attached. It’s a simple but incredibly useful accessory that I now use every day.
I just got back from a trip to Portugal and used my new crossbody bag from Arden Cove. I loved it. The bag was made for travel and ease. All of my important documents, credit cards, ear phones, cell etc. fit in an organized way and were well protected. The bag is stylish, and classy with the added protection of the locking clips helping me to feel safe during my adventures. This bag is well made, sturdy and a pleasure to use. Carmen provided an extra level of customer service on my order, really standing behind her customers. Thank you for that!
Overall, this bag exceeded my expectations and became one of my favorite travel accessories. Despite its security features, the bag remained stylish, comfortable to wear, and spacious enough to carry my daily essentials without feeling bulky.
The Verona Bag (a city in Italy as well): I was very fascinated with how easily the usage the anti-theft lock and the removable shoulder strap. I was able to fit all of my valuables, and that includes the digital camera I travel with. Overall very impressed with the bag.

Very happy to find this small crossbody in a summer shade that can be casual or dressy and has all the antitheft protection one wants for international travel.
It holds my prescription Raybans in their case; my Charmast portable charger; and my Mason Pearson Pocket Brush, in addition to my passport and credit cards. That’s all I need for a day’s adventures when I want to travel really light! (P.S. I use a lanyard for my iPhone 13 ProMax. I CAN squeeze it in this bag with my other items, but then it’s a very tight fit so I would not.)
I gave my Crissy to my daughter for a trip to Ireland. Sadly, her passport got wet in the outer pocket. It wasn’t in the interior pocket which she was using to store cash. In the rain, I’d recommend using the interior pocket. Otherwise, it looked cute and performed well!
I used my black Mykos on an overseas trip and absolutely loved it! It’s nice for every day, too. At first I struggled a little to slip my pro max phone into it (partially my fault for stuffing the bag), but with the bag better organized it slipped in easier. I packed a lot into it… my passport, credit cards, cash, foreign currency and change in a small zip bag, small hand lotion, lens cleaning cloth, hanky, pill box, nail file, mini eyedrops, tracker, phone and if I had to I could lay my sunglasses on top (but it was easier to just wear them on my head). It was so light and comfortable I almost forgot I was wearing it. Personally, I’d love if it were slightly wider even just 1/2” to give the phone a little more space and I’d love to have a slip pocket. But, that said I still love it. I brought my taupe Verona also and while I loved the added space I liked my Mykos a little bit more for its compact size and comfort. Also, kudos to Carmen and her outstanding customer service, answering my email quickly and taking action to make sure my last minute unplanned purchase would arrive in time for my trip. I am a repeat customer and I’ve no doubt I’ll be back for more!

Sorry you are having some issues opening your bum bag - water-resistant zippers are a bit stiffer so you're seeing some of that resistance on the ends of the bag. I just recommended opening from the middle of the main flap to open as wide as possible. I’ll be using this in Europe & Canada this year. I couldn’t wait to use it, so have been using it as an everyday bag. The jacquard strap is SO comfy! I may get the chain strap later to use for dressier evenings. The actual bag is great- very roomy without being overly big & everything is organized. I especially love the light colored interior that makes it easy to find things. I absolutely love the safety features- I had looked into other “safety” bags, but determined this one is best. I will feel very confident & stress free that my handbag contents will safe during my travels!
This is my second Arden Cove bag. I bought the wider strap to use when I am walking all day and the thinner strap for going out to dinner. This bag has storage options in all the right places, is incredibly well made and so very pretty. I can’t imagine a more functional and stylish travel bag exists!

Amazing antitheft crossbody bag. Extremely sturdy, high-quality zippers and a beautiful design. The strap is very comfortable, and even if it rains, it doesn’t matter at all. It’s quite roomy. It fits a water bottle, a cell phone, hand sanitizer, tissues, and the built-in wallet is a brilliant idea. The hidden zippers are a great feature. For those looking for an elegant design, this handbag is a must-have. No more ugly nylon bags for travelling!
My daughter and I purchased the Verona Crossbody bags for our trip to Italy with the REID. We are very excited how they are so travel safe. They’re absolutely beautiful. We love the feet that are on the bottom of the bag and we both love the jacquard straps! She has the burgundy and I got the navy. The beautiful box presentation was a classy touch!
I am in Seattle and purchased it for the excursions I will be going to during my Alaska cruise. I really prefer and love my other Arden Cove bags! This purchase was made for function more than for style.

Cant tell you how much I love these bags, got a navy blue for my dress for a wedding and a black one. They are perfect for dressy or jeans. Hardware is very nice. Customer service made sure I received them before my trip out of state. Came pretty quick. Thank you!! Will purchase again!

I absolutely adore this bag! I purchased mine in 2023 for a trip, and I ended up using it as an everyday bag. After 3 years of regular use it is just now starting to show some wear. The edging on the front pocket (The close up picture) is where I can see the most wear. I do occasionally spot clean it with just some water and it does come clean fairly easily. Since the fabric has some texture some spots require a little more elbow grease, but overall it is super easy to clean. I did post a review after 6 months, of use. Back then I was worried that the hardware might not hold up long term because it felt so light. The hardware is fine! The gold color has rubbed off a little bit on the chain links, but you really have to look at it closely to notice. I think it is excellent quality! I'm pretty hard on my bags so I think if you are on the fence you won't regret buying this bag!

We do offer repair/touch-ups for a low fee - we can essentially repaint the edge paint with leather acrylic on the parts where there are wear and tear on the piping. You can also do this at home as well! We just use Angelus black leather paint (should be less than $7 on Amazon for a small bottle, goes a long way), and apply 2-3 layers with a paint brush & q-tip. We usually also add a layer of finish, but even just the leather paint would do very well. Wishing you many more years of use! Best, Carmen
Calling all ladies who are international travelers that want a high end really nice travel purse with locking ant theft locks. This purse is the best purse I have found anywhere. I have bought and tried them all over the years on Amazon and they all break zipper wrips etc. I got my Arden Cove Verona cross body bag for my trip to Tokyo for work this week and its luxury compared to what I have ever had. Waterproof, high quality zippers and clasps and really roomy for my phone, passport, built in wallet, lots of storage and pockets inside. just like a luxury purse but for travel with the anti theft lock clasps.
A little expensive but worth it!

You will NOT find a more beautiful anti-theft bag than this! I did a lot of research on anti-theft travel bags before deciding on this one, and I have experience with other anti-theft bags that were fine, but didn’t have the QUALITY and STYLE that I’m blown away by with this bag - it’s elevated on every level and the strap is so comfortable. I cannot stress enough how worth it is to spend more money to get this kind of quality - the locking zippers and straps are excellent!

The pin fell out from connecting hardware on my crossbody backpack on day two of my trip. Luckily I had the small tools to fix it otherwise I wouldn't have been able to wear it as a backpack , the strap would not have been secured. This was frustration because it took over an hour for my husband and me to fix it.

Got the Verona for an upcoming multi city European trip. I was looking for a stylish anti theft crossbody bag. The Verona was the only one I could find that checked all the boxes. It has had the color I wanted (a lighter taupe). High quality locking clasps & clips in gold. It is large enough (but not too large) for a small water bottle & snacks if need be. RFID blocking pocket. The option to choose my style of strap! That was huge. I chose the wider jacquard style strap for comfort. I will be doing lots of walking & will need to carry it for many hours each day. As a bonus it also has gold feet at its bottom to protect it from getting dirty when setting it down. It was more than I wanted to pay but I am glad a pulled the trigger before it sold out. It’s perfect!

I purchased this item a month ago but I wanted to wait until after my trip to give this product a proper review.
I want to say a huge thank you to Carmen and for Arden Cove’s customer service! I purchased the Chrissy Mini Crossbody with Locking Clasps Strap for my upcoming trip to China. After approx. a week with no updates about my shipping/tracking, I emailed customer service to enquire if my parcel had left or if they knew of my parcels current whereabouts. I received a quick response from Carmen advising me that it appeared that USPS never did the initial scan and that my parcel may have been lost during the initial pick up. Carmen apologised and stated that she would send me a new parcel. I advised Carmen that I had purchased this item for my trip which was now in 10 days time and asked if there was a way to get the new item expressed shipping in hope it would arrive in time. Carmen posted me the replacement item with express shipment and I’m so appreciative that she did, as it arrived the day before my trip!
The packaging of the parcel was really pretty. I was really excited opening this parcel up and still use it to hold my bag in when I’m not using it.
The bag was the perfect size for my everyday essentials. I travelled through China with my mum and had everything that I needed in this bag. I was surprised by how much I could fit in this bag! I had my phone, portable charger, passport, cards, cash, hand sanitiser, tissues, lip balm and sunglasses.
The only downside for me (and this is my fault), I measured the straps incorrectly when I placed my order, and so I was unable to wear the bag as a cross body which I intended to do, however, I was still able to wear it around my waist and wear it like a bum bag/fanny pack, keeping my hands free.
When I went to Vietnam a few years ago, my phone was stolen from my bag and so I’ve been on a hunt to find a secure travel bag that also looks stylish, and so when I found Arden Cove, I was so excited about their range that I just had to buy something. This was my first purchase from Arden Cove and the relief of having the additional protection and security made my trip so carefree. This won’t be my last purchase. Thank you! 😁

Cannot wait to use this for our upcoming trip to France and Italy. It’s the perfect size for all the essentials. My son has a peanut allergy so I need something with enough room to carry an EpiPen as well as other essential items for travel. I love it so much I’m getting a smaller version in the same color so that I can interchange the straps. Love all the added protection while still looking chic.

I was looking for a theft proof bag that looked put together. I had seen other theft proof bags but they were very unattractive. I wanted something nicer. I found what I was looking for in the Arden Cove Crissy crossbody purse. It not only was slash proof but also waterproof and with locking zippers. A great find. Purchased this backpack last year for travel, but find I use it everyday. Loved taking to Paris in the winter because it made me feel confident on the crowded metro, especially after my husband and I were pickpocketed a few years ago. Next trip will be Italy and Greece!
The quality is amazing, and the theft protection gives peace of mind. Love this bag!

The chain strap is a perfect addition to any crossbody bag. I love that the straps are interchangeable, giving you the option to switch between something more comfortable (like the leather strap) and something dressier (the chain strap).
As someone with long hair, I often find that chain straps can snag, but that wasn’t an issue with this one. The interlocking design allows it to lay flat, which prevents any pulling or tangling.
Also, as a petite person, the 42" length is ideal—it sits comfortably at the hip and feels just right for everyday wear. :)

I couldn’t decide between this and the card holder so I ordered both. I love them both. I currently have 3 cards in this pouch. If the cards aren’t seated correctly it can be difficult to zip. A quick adjustment remedies that. I have the card holder for the things that are pulled out most frequently and am currently using the pouch for other things that are necessary to have with me but not used each day. Since both items are minimalist in style, it doesn’t add bulk to have both. This will be great for my trip so I can have the necessities but not pull everything out each time I make a purchase.
