I purchased the Elise Crossbody for trips to Rome and New York that were within days of each other. This is the most stylish, well-made, and functional crossbody I have ever owned. I was able to carry everything I needed without being concerned about the security of the contents. The purse itself is light and the black vegan leather with gold hardware coordinated with every outfit I wore. I felt like the most stylish (and secure) person in both cities. The slash-resistant strap that came with my purse felt very comfortable on my neck and across my shoulder. It rained during my walking tour in Rome, and the water-resistant material withstood the minimal amount of rain that fell on my crossbody. I am thrilled with this purchase!

This was just the right size to keep all my essentials at hand for a destination wedding! It kept everything I needed safe and looked great in the process. I'll be coming back to get a white top handle to make it into a handbag since it worked so well dressed up. The white is hard to keep clean, so my regular Crissy crossbody is still my go to daily bag, but this is my new cute summer outfit bag since it will match so many sundresses. 😁

My Arden Cove Cross Body did a recent tour of Spain, Portugal and Italy. It looked great,
held my credit card and Passport safely-even while on crowded buses and trams - and also held everything I needed for the day-my Ipad, hand sanitiser, sunglasses, and so forth.
The outside side pocket was great for holding boarding passes, bus tickets and hotel key cards. The white and gold bag was also smart enough to take out to dinner in the evening. Love it !
I LOVE this bag for traveling! The leather is great quality and I prefer it over the nylon looking bags because it adds more luxury to the look. I also bought the thicker slah-proof strap to wear it around my waist for days my shoulders get tired of the crossbody. Its one pocket is easily accesible for all my stuff. It's deceptively spacious as it holds more than a medium Chanel black flap which looks bigger. This bag has held up so well for 2 years worth of trips. Not a sign of scuffing, wear or tearing anywhere! And I'm pretty clumsy and heavy-handed. I'm super happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to buy another ArdenCove item for myself or a friend!

I am so in love with my Arden Cove purse! It is gorgeous enough to wear with any outfit and gives me so much peace of mind.
I loved being able to put it into "sport-mode" by tightening the strap and wearing it as a bum bag. Perfect for last minute bike rides and climbing up inside pyramids 😊
My life changed again when I realized that I could clip the wrist strap of my phone to the bag and set my phone down on the table while eating without worrying about it being swiped 🙌
I did have one issue with the zipper thread wearing down and ripping in one area, but the purse is so well made I was able to continue to (carefully) use it until I got home and because it was within the warranty period and they couldn't repair it they sent me a new one!
Carmen was so kind to prep the zipper with a conditioner before sending it. I will be looking into getting some so I never have to be without this purse again 😊

I love my Elise! This was my first purchase from Arden Cove. Love the built in wallet and how wide the bag opens. It’s so pretty too! I ended up buying the crissy full as well to use on an upcoming trip to Europe because I liked the pockets inside and the fact that the wallet was on the outside for easier access. I’ve been using the Elise as my every day bag though and it’s perfect! Great customer service too!!

So cute! I have a red/burgundy Crissy that I absolutely adore. I've been using it for 3 years (purchased August 2023) and I use it ALL THE TIME. It's the perfect little size to hold everything that I need most days and it feels good as a cross body. I say all of this to say that I had high expectations for the Elise. And it met them. What a cute little bag! I like that it's like a dressy version of my Crissy. I bought this one in the brown color, so it dresses up nicely because it looks like camel-colored leather (but of course, its faux leather :). The thicker straps are a little bit stiffer than the thin ones on my Crissy, so I'm still getting used to that, but I like the top handle, so I can use the bag in multiple ways. Also, because my red Crissy has brown straps, if I want a thinner strap, I can just use my Crissy straps on the Elise bag. Arden Cove bags are the best for traveling because of the locking straps. But they're also the best for just all the time because they hold up, they are a good size and they look cute.
I purchased this bag because I wanted a bag with a built in wallet and they are a little difficult to find since I wanted something more high end looking. I really do like the look of the bag. However, the card slots, phone pocket in back and zippered pocket inside are difficult to get anything into. There is just no “give”. I am keeping the bag in hopes that things loosen up.
I love the way the purse opens. It allows me to quickly see everything in my purse. The outside back pocket is almost too tight to use. I also like that the inside lining is light so I can see things.

I like the fact that it’s slash resistant but over all it’s meh. Feels cheap for the price but peace of mind it’s slash resistant is worth it. I had to leave it on our porch for a few days to get rid of the smell.

I'm so glad I purchased the Elise. It holds everything I need with room for a few extras, and even after I got caught in rain and snow in NYC during my first trip with this purse, I just wiped it off, and it looks great. It looks chic, so it did double duty during the day and at night when I was at theaters and restaurants. The security features were reassuring while I navigated crowded streets and trains. I can't wait to take this on my upcoming travels!

I didn't think I'd like it bc at first it was hard to fit all my stuff in. However, with a little ingenuity it all fit. I will say that all the compartments were so tight at first, that I ruined a couple cuticles getting my stuff in and out. And trying to get the cards out of the slots bumps you up against the top of the purse. But -- I put the cards in the lower slots and all the compartments loosened up over time. Took it on a month trip to Europe and was completely confident that it would resist pickpocket attempts. Not too heavy and very well-utilized space. The gussets make the bag. It opens wide to fit: small hand sanitizer, pck of tissues, 2 glasses cases (stacked on top of each other), currency and change (USD and foreign), keys, phone and a small pouch with lipstick, hand cream, etc. What else does one need in a purse. And, I liked that it served me as a purse for evenings out. It was much more than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it. I bought the narrow strap and that irritated over time so you may want to try the wider. But the purse is so much sturdier and theft proof than other brands that I ultimately returned. I really love this bag! I rated it four stars because it’s a bit smaller than I hoped. It would be great to have a designated spot for a water bottle inside!

I have been searching for months for a handbag that would allow me to eliminate the bulk of my wallet yet still provide enough space for the little stuff (cosmetics, phone, keys, etc) so I was extremely excited when I received the Elise Crossbody bag. Well made, highly functional and attractive. It will be perfect once the leather softens up…it’s super stiff right now.

Perfect bag for my recent trip to Portugal. Enough space for phones, travel chargers, umbrellas, etc. Versatile straps for various ways to style it, but I primarily used it as a cross-body. Zippers open with a bit of resistance (good thing) and lock feature on the compartment as well. Overall, I’m pleased with the functionality and the look of the bag. If you are on the fence - get it.

I have been looking for an anti-theft bag for quite a while. To be honest, most of the ones I saw were functional, but ugly. That is, until I discovered Arden Cove. This bag has all the security features and it’s elegant. It arrived quickly and was packaged beautifully. What’s more, the bag is even better in person. I have already recommended Arden Cove to friends travelling overseas. If you are thinking about an Arden Cove bag, and wondering if it’s worth it, I can honestly say that it is. Great looking bag and I feel very secure using it. Some things I would change are: the zippered pocket inside is too tight and I can barely put things in there; the strap is too stiff and hurts my shoulder; also I prefer a softer bag, less hard. But overall I like it, fits a lot of things, and looks better than my nylon travel bag.

Loving how this purse looks, and definitely loving it with the chain strap! It's pretty comfortable and I can put a pretty good amount of stuff in it. Perfect for just casually meandering around town or attending events - my first use of this purse was at a friend's wedding because all my other purses were too casual. Love this so much and I'm debating getting it in other color ways. I'm hoping to add a photo of what I've been able to fit in this purse soon!!

Very well made. Definitely holds more than it looks like it does. I am happy that my Kindle Paperwhite fits inside. The interior pockets are tight but I imagine will loosen with use. Really like the locking features for travel.
Wanted something that was functional for day touring but can also go to dinner and this fits the bill.

Great purse for traveling around Germany and France. It was a little difficult to open the zipper at first, but after a a day or two of use, it became easier and more natural--I also thought this difficulty made it safer as well. Was able to fit my sunglasses (with case), phone, passport and spare charger with ease. The built-in wallet is fantastic and easy to maneuver. Love the studs on the bottom too! I bought the leather strap -- it was a bit wonky at first from the packaging but flattened out with use and was comfortable. Very happy with my purchase.

This bag was perfect for my trip to Greece. Not only did I feel safe and secure, it fit everything I needed, including a sunglass case, passports, my husbands wallet, and more. And it looked great with all my outfits! Highly recommend!
The zipper was a bit hard to open at first, but after a dozen or so times of zipping and unzipping, it now is much easier to open. It is surprisingly roomy. Love the color, size and overall sturdiness!

I purchased this bag because I wanted a bag with a built in wallet and they are a little difficult to find since I wanted something more high end looking. I really do like the look of the bag. However, the card slots, phone pocket in back and zippered pocket inside are difficult to get anything into. There is just no “give”. I am keeping the bag in hopes that things loosen up.
I love the way the purse opens. It allows me to quickly see everything in my purse. The outside back pocket is almost too tight to use. I also like that the inside lining is light so I can see things.

I like the fact that it’s slash resistant but over all it’s meh. Feels cheap for the price but peace of mind it’s slash resistant is worth it. I had to leave it on our porch for a few days to get rid of the smell.

I'm so glad I purchased the Elise. It holds everything I need with room for a few extras, and even after I got caught in rain and snow in NYC during my first trip with this purse, I just wiped it off, and it looks great. It looks chic, so it did double duty during the day and at night when I was at theaters and restaurants. The security features were reassuring while I navigated crowded streets and trains. I can't wait to take this on my upcoming travels!

I didn't think I'd like it bc at first it was hard to fit all my stuff in. However, with a little ingenuity it all fit. I will say that all the compartments were so tight at first, that I ruined a couple cuticles getting my stuff in and out. And trying to get the cards out of the slots bumps you up against the top of the purse. But -- I put the cards in the lower slots and all the compartments loosened up over time. Took it on a month trip to Europe and was completely confident that it would resist pickpocket attempts. Not too heavy and very well-utilized space. The gussets make the bag. It opens wide to fit: small hand sanitizer, pck of tissues, 2 glasses cases (stacked on top of each other), currency and change (USD and foreign), keys, phone and a small pouch with lipstick, hand cream, etc. What else does one need in a purse. And, I liked that it served me as a purse for evenings out. It was much more than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it. I bought the narrow strap and that irritated over time so you may want to try the wider. But the purse is so much sturdier and theft proof than other brands that I ultimately returned. I really love this bag! I rated it four stars because it’s a bit smaller than I hoped. It would be great to have a designated spot for a water bottle inside!

I have been searching for months for a handbag that would allow me to eliminate the bulk of my wallet yet still provide enough space for the little stuff (cosmetics, phone, keys, etc) so I was extremely excited when I received the Elise Crossbody bag. Well made, highly functional and attractive. It will be perfect once the leather softens up…it’s super stiff right now.

Perfect bag for my recent trip to Portugal. Enough space for phones, travel chargers, umbrellas, etc. Versatile straps for various ways to style it, but I primarily used it as a cross-body. Zippers open with a bit of resistance (good thing) and lock feature on the compartment as well. Overall, I’m pleased with the functionality and the look of the bag. If you are on the fence - get it.

I have been looking for an anti-theft bag for quite a while. To be honest, most of the ones I saw were functional, but ugly. That is, until I discovered Arden Cove. This bag has all the security features and it’s elegant. It arrived quickly and was packaged beautifully. What’s more, the bag is even better in person. I have already recommended Arden Cove to friends travelling overseas. If you are thinking about an Arden Cove bag, and wondering if it’s worth it, I can honestly say that it is. Great looking bag and I feel very secure using it. Some things I would change are: the zippered pocket inside is too tight and I can barely put things in there; the strap is too stiff and hurts my shoulder; also I prefer a softer bag, less hard. But overall I like it, fits a lot of things, and looks better than my nylon travel bag.

Loving how this purse looks, and definitely loving it with the chain strap! It's pretty comfortable and I can put a pretty good amount of stuff in it. Perfect for just casually meandering around town or attending events - my first use of this purse was at a friend's wedding because all my other purses were too casual. Love this so much and I'm debating getting it in other color ways. I'm hoping to add a photo of what I've been able to fit in this purse soon!!

Very well made. Definitely holds more than it looks like it does. I am happy that my Kindle Paperwhite fits inside. The interior pockets are tight but I imagine will loosen with use. Really like the locking features for travel.
Wanted something that was functional for day touring but can also go to dinner and this fits the bill.

I purchased the Elise Crossbody with Locking Clasps Strap as a gift for my significant other. It's generally for foreign travel use in those areas where pickpocket theft risk is known to be higher. This was the most fashionable crossbody I could find. Nice handbag!

Great purse for traveling around Germany and France. It was a little difficult to open the zipper at first, but after a a day or two of use, it became easier and more natural--I also thought this difficulty made it safer as well. Was able to fit my sunglasses (with case), phone, passport and spare charger with ease. The built-in wallet is fantastic and easy to maneuver. Love the studs on the bottom too! I bought the leather strap -- it was a bit wonky at first from the packaging but flattened out with use and was comfortable. Very happy with my purchase.

This bag was perfect for my trip to Greece. Not only did I feel safe and secure, it fit everything I needed, including a sunglass case, passports, my husbands wallet, and more. And it looked great with all my outfits! Highly recommend!
The zipper was a bit hard to open at first, but after a dozen or so times of zipping and unzipping, it now is much easier to open. It is surprisingly roomy. Love the color, size and overall sturdiness!
I already posted a review. Again, this is a great small bag that’ll fit a few necessities- wallet, coin purse, Kleenex napkin, lip gloss, face mask, keys.
The Elise crossbody is a wonderful and sturdy bag! It was shipped well secured and expeditiously. It’s a great lightweight bag to pack just a few of my necessities that doesn’t weigh me down.
