There is a steel cable woven into the nylon to add extra security while still remaining very comfortable on the shoulder.

In addition to being slash resistant, it also has our locking clasps that are on all of our locking straps.
Which bags works with the Slash Resistant Jacquard Strap?
Any of the Arden Cove bags can be used with this strap. It is an option with our crossbodies, including the Crissy Full Crossbody, the Crissy Mini Crossbody, and the Elise Crossbody. It can also be added on to your order separately to be used with any other Arden Cove bags or a bag you already have.
How long is the Slash Resistant Jacquard Strap?
The strap is adjustable. It measures about 37"-57" (94-144.7 cm) in total length, and approximately 17"-28" (43-71 cm) in drop length.
The strap is 1.4" (3.5 cm) in width.
